MINING

Kai Rho Contracting provides ancillary services to mining sites including waste management, refuelling and dust suppression.

ONSITE REFUELLING SERVICES

Mine sites often require generators to be refuelled in areas such as processing plants, remote generators and slave tanks on distant bore fields, airfields and campsites. Kai Rho Contracting currently supply this service to the whole of Tropicana Gold Mine with experienced servicemen operating the fuel trucks and pumping equipment safely and efficiently to over 80 tanks, generators and equipment.

DUST SUPPRESSION AND WATER CARTAGE EQUIPMENT

Kai Rho water trucks are fitted with 14,000L capacity water tanks, a water cannon, sprays and dribble bars as well as hose connectors to provide the ultimate, all-rounder watering service vehicle. Kai Rho ensures dust suppression on all roads is delivered as well as laydown areas and fine stacking areas on site. The company also supplies potable water to tanks and fauna ponds. Services for de-watering of bunds and sumps are also provided.

KEEPING ON TOP OF WASTE MANAGEMENT

Keeping on top of waste management is a vital part of the daily maintenance on site. Kai Rho services all skip bins, scrap metal, hydrocarbon and filter waste bins, general waste bins, tyre waste and putrescible waste. The company manages the site rubbish tip from collection to disposal include all trench management, fencing, environmental quality assurance and signage. The experienced team operates and maintains a skip truck and rubbish truck to perform these duties, as well as a loader and forklift when required.

Civil Works

Kai Rho have local experienced operators for civil works services in the region. It has a team of operators on rollers, graders, excavators, loaders and water carts with access to local equipment. Please contact us if you would like us to quote for your local civil contracting needs.

Experienced in human resources, safety and employment law, our workforce is equipped with all safety, training and Verification of Competency requirements on all mine and civil works sites.

Kai Rho currently has a workforce of over 70% local Aboriginal employees with a database of trained and work-ready local Aboriginal people ready to be placed onsite at any time.
