Delivered by Kai Rho Contracting, this one-month civil works package upgraded a key internal intersection at the Kalgoorlie Nickel Smelter.

- Open unlined drain grade to suit silt trap

The project involved widening the intersection, joining heavy and light vehicle roads, relocating pedestrian walkways and crossing, and drainage improvements. Delivered alongside responsive day works, the upgrade improved heavy-vehicle movement, pavement performance, and road functionality within a live operational environment.
